Promotions and New Hires Announced at L.R. Costanzo Co., Inc.

In keeping with the company’s commitment to continue building the finest construction-services company while fostering long-term, solid relationships with both clients and team members, Vice President of Operations Matthew D. Michalek proudly announces the following promotions and new hires.

Phillip J. Mitchell, Jr., C.C.E., Scranton, has been promoted to Project Manager. An L.R. Costanzo team member for five years, Mitchell began as an Estimator. In his new capacity, Mitchell is responsible for overseeing project teams and coordinating all construction trades, as well as sub-contractors, design professionals, and vendors. He possesses a Master of Science Degree in Engineering, Operations and Strategy; a Professional Cost Engineer Certification; and a Lean Six Sigma Certification.



Cheryl L. Richard, Mohnton, has joined L.R. Costanzo to spearhead Business Development. She has worked for Kewaunee Scientific Corporation, ThermoFisher, Charles Matsinger Associates, and RPA Engineering in the construction, design and engineering of life sciences facilities for over 25 years in positions ranging from Senior Account Executive to Director of Business Development. In her new position, Cheryl is responsible for creating and developing new opportunities for additions, renovations and new construction of pharmaceutical and life sciences throughout the Northeast.
